The Camping and Caravanning Club have announced the dates for this year's National Camping and Caravanning Week. This year's event will run from 31st May - 6th June and will have particular emphasis on first-time caravanners and campers, after the industry saw a boost in caravan sales and 'staycations' during the past year.
If you are new to caravans and camping, or have recently purchased a motorhome or campervan, then this is a great opportunity to learn lots of new tips and tricks. Michelle Jewell, from The Camping and Caravanning club said: “We’re confident this year is going to be a great one for the camping and caravanning industry, as people look to enjoy some much-needed time away from home in the fresh air. In the past year we have seen so many people enjoy camping for the first time – or rediscover it – we want to provide lots of helpful tips and inspiration for future camping adventures."
Many of the club sites will be celebrating with on-site activities for you to get involved in, but if you're unable to make it during these dates, the NCC will be posting a jam-packed timetable to its Facebook page, full of interesting content, live videos and activities that you can take part in at home - or wherever you are!
The Club will launch a series of exciting competitions, along with Club partners such as GO Outdoors, Vango, The Outdoor Guide, and more, in the coming weeks with the chance to win camping kits and accessories.

There will also be celebrity guests joining the celebration throughout the week including; Club President Julia Bradbury; CBeebies presenter Gemma Hunt; British Mountaineering Council (BMC) ambassador Mary-Ann Ochota; author of Camping with Kids Simon McGrath; Club presenter and campsite cooking expert Andrew Dickens; Club Technical Advisor Iain Geddes and Holly Barber who will reveal the secrets of forest bathing! Whether you are new to the world of camping, or a seasoned pro, this is certainly not a week to be missed!
